Performance monitoring of biofiltration systems

The aim of this project is to test the performance of two stormwater biofiltration systems. The Facility for Advancing Water Biofiltration (FAWB) has conducted extensive testing of biofiltration systems at the laboratory scale and has demonstrated their potential for providing significant flow and water quality benefits, it is important to validate these findings by testing real systems. In this project, which is funded by Melbourne Water, we are monitoring the hydrologic and treatment performance of two different systems.
