General Activities

The group concentrates on the following:
  1. Hosts the conference serial on Urban Drainage Modeling (UDM) every 3 years.
  2. Organizes specialized workshops and seminars (an aim is to organize one every year as a part of major international conferences).
  3. Organizes specialized technical sessions at international conferences (reviewing papers is one of the main tasks).
  4. Write statement paper(s) on state of the art and emerging issues
  5. Write reports and manuals (e.g. guidance for engineers in urban drainage on proper data collection and modeling techniques focusing on emerging needs for including uncertainty and integration issues).
  6. Supports work of other related working groups of the IWA/IAHR Specialist Group on Urban Drainage
  7. Disseminates information of its work (e.g. via IWGDM home page, using network of its members, etc).
